I am going to try out an Antares Vocal Producer. Should I run the signal through it before recording or after the it has been laid down. Or doesn't it matter? I am using it with my VS2480.

I was looking at this for my guitar stuff. How does it sound. Can you get a good variety of sounds? I want a small module (cause I like the Line 6 POD but this is cheaper and has pedals included) that I can run straight into my vs2480.

I was thinking of using eggcrate mattress deals in stead of expensive auralex for my home studio. Will this work at least ok? What else would you all recomend? I wonder if I could dye/color it black or gray?
