I am going to try out an Antares Vocal Producer. Should I run the signal through it before recording or after the it has been laid down. Or doesn't it matter? I am using it with my VS2480.
It's much safer to use it to use it during the mix. If you use it when tracking, you will not be able to fix any glitches or artifacts it might introduce.
