Where is a good place to buy wallplates? I'll probably need one for 12 or so xlr and 3-1/4", and 2 maybe 4-xlr and 2-1/4".

So a friend and I are building a studio in his garage. There is a double wall between the control room and the tracking rooms. Should the studs on the two walls line up or should they be offset? Some sources I have seen say one is better, while some say the opposite is in fact, better.

Hey, I just got an M-audio omnistudio USB and am having a problem. It's installed, I can get audio out, it is getting a signal from the mic because the signal and peak lights work. I can hear the input from the mic if I plug headphones/monitors into the inserts. I am not getting any signal...

My computer died recently and I had to replace my HD. Right now I'm installing everything back on to it. For some reason my mobilepre USB is making a static/poping noise every once in a while. It is very short, maybe .2-.5 seconds and only seems to do it when I am listening to music and...
