The three mentioned have their pros and cons and you've obviously done your basic research.
In my opinion you can't go far wrong with any one of the three so go with whatever one appeals to you.
Software is a different matter. I use and recommend Reaper --- LINK --- because it's professional...
You are limited to one Redrum in Reason Adapted, as well as one mixer, one Subtractor, one REX player, etc.
If you want to add another Redrum you need to buy Reason.

Isn't there a stereo out L + R on the top of the MR8 right above the 2 headphone jacks?
If so, that's your output.
Run the stereo outs into your mixer and run the mixer outputs into the KRK's. When you want to record something you may need to switch the monitors off to avoid feedback.

Did you even try my solution?
Tascam built that feature in to the US-122 specifically for a problem like yours.
Did you find the page in Sonar where you can adjust the audio buffer size?
.
Re-recording midi data through the analog outputs of a keyboard with the help any kind of cabling is the long way around.
Midi is nothing more than a command language. It carries no audio of it's own and without your keyboard on the other end of the midi wire you would hear nothing at all.
Use...
The US-122 has a 'monitor thru' feature that lets you hear what you're putting down along with any previously recorded tracks.
This means as long as you have this feature activated you can increase the audio buffer size in Sonar until you get smooth performance and still track and overdub while...
A friend of mine had one in the mid-80's.
They were used by an English band called Joy Division on both of their LP's.
From my google search Elka was an Italian independent organ maker that dabbled in synths and string machines.
This link --- LINK --- will get you onto the Vintage Synth...
To my memory I haven't used the Axiom series so I can't comment, but I have used the Edirol and found it to be solid --- at least as solid as any other lower priced keyboard controller.
MAudio makes a bunch of keyboard controllers and I've read - on this board and elsewhere - praise for the...
In the old days of recording (a decade ago or more) outboard preamps were a rarity. You typically used the board - be it Neve, Mackie or one of the many in between - for the entire song or project or LP or CD and didn't worry about having a variable stamp to scatter the stacking tendency.
A...
If you like the sounds in the MicroKorg and are comfortable with the small keys buy another MicroKorg.
If you've got a bunch of soft synths on your computer or intend to get a bunch of soft synths on your computer a full sized controller might make more sense.
For the price of a MicroKorg ---...
I must have hit a nerve.
I didn't mean my response to be rude, just factual.
It's sad that you feel the need to scream 'I am important' whenever you feel challenged.
I respect your willingness to help but am embarrassed for you when you post such a defensive screed in response to a mild...
You edit the modulation speed on the synthesizer or soft synthesizer you are controlling, not on the Photon itself.
Midi controllers typically use Continuous Controller # 1 for modulation and when you roll the mod wheel forward it generates a increasing value between 000 and 127.

He / she did.
This is a crosspost.
HGfunk, post your question once in the most appropriate forum. You won't get a faster or better answer and you'll piss off the Dragon by crossposting it in multiple forums.

As one of my old bosses used to say, thank you for thanking me.
Good luck with getting the two to communicate properly --- they are powerful synths in their own right but together they make a monsterass combo.
.
You can do it that way too, but it's a temporary hack to set the reception side of the program change equation to match what's being transmitted.
The permanent fix lies in the transmission side and that means the S80.
That's why you've 'run into (it) many times' --- you've used a band aid on a...
If you take the ticking loop into an audio editor like Sound Forge or even Audacity you can specify the length of the fade in / fade out.
Move both the fade in and the fade out point toward the in body of the loop --- the clicks will soon disappear.
.
Read page 57 of your S80 manual -- the page should be titled 'Using as a Master Keyboard (Performance Mode)'. If it's not page 57 then it should be somewhere close,
Then skip to page 129 --- that should be the page that tells you where to enter the Bank Select MSB (Most Significant Byte) and...
