I use pretty much every plugin in PT that I used in AA.... I actually still do all my mastering in Adobe...It seems to suit me better than Protools...

I would consider it more of a lateral than a step up....both programs do the same thing...I made the move to Pro tools for the same reasons you want to move....I like Protools more than Adobe Audition......but its still not a "step up" is Google not compatible with your PC????

well...the lightbridge should be along very soon....the rosetta may be a ways out but I have an M-audio octane to lightpipe in until I can afford the rosetta...

I plan to go the Rosetta route eventually as well...but I think I will stick to M-powered....My plan is to get the M-audio Light Bridge which will let you connect up to 4 Lightpipe devices....

I didnt get this one off Ebay...a friend called me on Thursday and said he needed $80 for something really quick and asked me if I wanted to buy the mic....I said "no...but Ill loan you $80" and he didnt like that idea...so I bought the mic for $80... I havent even taken it out of the box...

yea...well...I spoke with "my friend" before posting my thread and the newest info I could find was 2 years old....just checkin to see if I could find anything more recent...

surly someone has used both the NT1 and NT1-a and can tell me something....

I havnt had the chance to listen to it yet...it seems to be in mint condition but it doesnt have a shock or any type of mount.... anyone know the differance between the NT1 and the NT1a?

I like to have my lead vocal track in the center...then pan the 2nd and 3rd, but not hard left and right....then I send them to an AUX input and drop the fader all the way down. Then listen to the beat and the lead vox and slowly bring up the AUX input fader until the stacks sound good to you

I have a total of 3....one is fine....last week I traded with someone on here to pick up 2 more...they have pretty bad ribbon sag....I was able to retension one but tore the other.....anyone know were I can pick up replacements?
