I would have laid back on some of those riffs. The pull-offs get to be a bit much after a while. Its a cool song and I like the sound but I would have tried to groove it more, if you dig me.

Not sure what kind of comments you are looking for. The guitar parts are the highlight IMO. Odd verse length on the first one. Your lyric sheets must be pages long! Kind of an 80s feel to these. Nice sound but the drums do come off a little canned.

Going from C to G to D I believe is called a double plagal cadence in D. I was wrong before to say that G is the tonic of D when actually the opposite is true, which might argue for G. However the plagal cadence makes me lean toward D.

I like the quiet vibe for most of the song but when it really gets going it calls out for a little more bombast, maybe a little Queen vibe, but definitely upping the intensity.
