Not necessarily - I guess the amount of time you have had your mix up for and the number of plays makes a difference to the probability that someone will download. Yeah, I wonder how many contest judges there are?... But I would imagine they wouldn't start downloading until after the deadline...

I'm finding it all a bit midrange heavy, with not much extension down low. There is a lot of competition between the guitar and vocal, as well as the low end of the cymbals - it crowds the high mids in the mix quite a bit. I'd suggest working on clearing out space for the vocal in that range...

Sounds pretty damn good to me - perhaps the hats cut through a tad too much in the chorus, but it's not much - maybe just a little bit of shelf eq up high would bring that down - I love the vocals & the subtle ambiance on them - very well judged - sweet mix!
