LOL, I know that feeling all too well. I have a Ibanez RG270-DX and bought a Regal RD35-B Dobro. I feel like I did when I started playing umpteen years ago. Slapping the E when you meant to hit the A and so on. Just need to get used to both, though I'm enjoying my dobro so much more. ;)

Same thing here. The USB connection is made after a pot of coffee and a few choice words (not sure if it smells the java or hears me ranting /smile). Seriously though, it's just that the USB needs time for the init to take place. This also happens on almost all USB devides btw. ;)

Let me answer myself on this. The answer is no. Regal only makes accoustic resonators with the option of a nice installed accoustic mic. Does anyone know of or have a nice dobro or resonator that they would reccomend for about the $300 to $400 range? It does need to be accoustic / electric though.
