I don't think a seller can retract their reserve price, so you're probably not obligated to buy. Not completely sure. Check the eBay rules. Also, I wouldn't recommend trying to get the $250 price. It was a lucky unadvertised find for me. The PSA-1 is definitely worth the new price.

I like to use two different guitars and two different amps when recording two guitar parts. In the Metallica MP3, I just used two different settings on the GT2.

No Tubescreamer or anything else. Just the GT2. Of couse, your pickups, playing style, EQ (like you mentioned), and other guitar characteristics will play a role in your final tone.

Hey Dragonworks, Thanks for the review. The MPX G2 may compliment my TriAxis or PSA-1 nicely. I personally use the DigiTech Control 8 as a MIDI foot pedal. It's good for some purposes and bad for others. From the good standpoint, on stage, I never use more than three sounds per song...
