no, you only have 8 channels. It says 10 but 2 are digital (spdif). The cables you need will have one RCA on one end and one 1/4" on the other. Or in my case, I have snakes with 8 on each end.

don't forget a strap, cord, and pick. At that price, did it come with strings? Because you will need those. The 1/4" output should be fine. I think you can pick up 1/4" cables fairly cheap these days.

I am not saying that because I have not used it. I have just noticed a lot of complains on it. As with more LE programs, I think it probably lacks in total usability. Do a search here and see what comes up. I could be totally wrong. I happens every now and then. :)

Cool, I am not too familiar with that set up. I just know that people complain about LE and M powered for their lack of extras.

I use my EQ stuff and Wave Hammer a lot. I am trying to become less reliant on them and more reliant on learning how to record a great sound.

I think if you get the M-box, you will need to go with Pro Tools M Powered.

I use monitors and mix at low volumes. You shouldn't be blasting your speakers when you mix anyway.
