    Female singer for online collaberation

I might be interested if I can do it. It's out of my general genre, but I'd be up for something different. Do you have lyrics? I don't like to do lyrics. You can hear me at www.kfrosh.com

New tune by Jeff and Kgirl

I'm gonna edit again here, to say that I have no real monitors...when I mixed this it may have been too loud, and when I listen to it quiet, it's too vocally verby for me. But when I turn it up, I like it better. Just bad mixing, really.

New tune by Jeff and Kgirl

that's what he wanted...I'm sure NO ONE is using it. Oh yeah, except us. :p I may have overdone it truthfully, especially at the end, but he thought that my original version needed more to blend them together. I also used a plugin Ive never used. But, Jeff and I are both verb fans, sad...

New tune by Jeff and Kgirl

hey thanks guys! I do think we need to work on that arrangement some. We just kind of wanted to throw it up...just cause sometimes you just get that itch, you know? Haha... Cosmic, we'll take those thoughts into consideration...i can definitely hear what you mean, and it would give it more...

New tune by Jeff and Kgirl

Hi guys. Jeff and I hardly ever visit here anymore, but we also don't get a lot recorded, haha. But, we've just started collabing together over the internet, and we made this most recently. Jeff actually wrote the song and the arrangement, which is wonderful, in my opinion. He mixed all his...

is it possible to record the output of a plugin

I don't think you can do this without an outboard compressor/limiter in your chain before going into the computer.

Thanks! Still haven't gotten the new songs up...there'll be eleven there when I get them online, actually, 12 I think. Anyway. I'm at work now, but I have tomorrow off, so I'll post as soon as they're up! -K PS Started guitar lessons yesterday...that was cool.

    Indie Radio (need music!)

Dude, sorry, I'm a mom, and I'm always working, it seems. I'll convert my cd I just made to mp3's and get them on my site tonight, hopefully. That page will just have to look like crap or sump'n. Nowhereradio seems to take forever to upload to compared to uploading via ftp to my own site. -K.

    Tracking thru speakers?

This is probably a really stupid question, but when I try to track through, say, my stereo speakers, often there is a feedback that occurs, as I have everything in the same room. (I have no monitors for now) So, in the "same room scenario, is it best to track something with them muted, then...

    Indie Radio (need music!)

Drivin' Hey Erik...This weekend, either Friday night or Saturday, I will update all my songs...if not on that website, which means updating the design as well, I'll do it on my nowhereradio site, and post a link. I'll also add whatever songs are not up at all presently as well. There are...

    Mic Modeling/Simulation in Sonar 4?

Otherwise, look into the Antares Mic Modeler, I guess, if you really want to model mics via software. It will work with Sonar.

    Indie Radio (need music!)

    Replacing Midi with Drums...

Drumagog will still work if you bounce the midi to separate tracks, using whatever sound will be adequate to trigger drumagog. You'd use it as an insert on the dxi audio track, or on the drum audio track after you exported it to audio. I'm pretty sure anyway. You might need to do some...

    Replacing Midi with acutal Drums...

There is also a program called Drumagog that I think does what you are looking to do. You can use any sample you want, and it replaces drum hits.

    Speaker volume ??

I've been curious about this, and I had learned how to do the speaker, but I was wondering about the subwoofer, as lpdeluxe starts to mention. What kind of test tone do they provide, and I never really knew where I should have my crossover point set. Nor, how loud the volume level on the...
