Yeah, almost unimaginable. I would have to mic the guitar body, compress the shit out of it and set the level higher than the amp channel to get pick hitting string sounds - even at at low amp volume.

All the individual instruments sound well recorded, mix gels up nicely. Love the rhodes or whatever the piano is. Especially like the acoustic, and actually like the panning choice. Leaves the middle wide open. Wide open middle is important for a song like this IMO.

My advice is to get some kind of velocity sensitive controller or cheap ekit you can bang on with sticks. You can program the kick and hat and play everything else around it in the beginning.

Should have been more specific :-) We are renovating our house for sale and just about everything we own other than essentials is in storage. We are moving from the city to the country... It will be a while, but I fully expect to be rolling again in the future. Chuck
