well i dont know about cool edit.. but if the click doesnt match the tempo.. it either sucks, or u are doing something wrong ;)
then read the manual of cool edit pro! ;)
i spent ages reading the whole manual of cubase sx - but now i know what im doing..
answering my own question.. ;D
cool, found exactly what i want by myself :D
only posting it incase someone else might look for the same thing.. :)

http://www.kvr-vst.com is a great site anyway :D
i would need a plugin for cubase sx, which lets me shift keys like at least 2 octaves..
heres what i want to do, incase someone has a better idea (it will probably cause a few laughs.. :))
i want to use my guitar to play basslines for my songs, so a plugin like that would allow me to simulate...
broken finger - no this mixer doesnt have that..
hmm.. well i hope u have your faders up (oops, dials ;)) - of course u should hear the main mix in the phones. do u hear it when u DONT insert the tape? i have the same mixer but never tried that option.. but it would be crap if the tape mutes...
i like them.
i think if you want to homerecord, and not trying to be a pro, u cant go wrong with a behringer mixer.
but then again - dont we all dream to be pros?? lol :D
;)
yes, i am getting an all-tube amp (mesa boogie studio .22 combo), although i dont know anything really about tube amps. blame me for that, but at least i am honest and DO want to get info.
i know they are much more fragile then non-tubers, and that the tubes may have to be changed sooner or...
dude..
first of all, thanks again to everybodies replies! :)
i actually dont know why i didnt look into the mesas earlier.. mainly because i just always heard they are expensive.. and i did never buy any used gear yet
but after lotuscents post (suggesting the subway rocket) i did a research...
look for the buttons above the volume for phones..
"tape tp ctrl room" - push that button - u want it on the phones..
"tape to main" - dont push that so it wont go with the main mix. push it and it will!
i was you, not too long ago.
now i have spent all my money on microphones, cables, mixers, monitors, cables, a second computer (ok that was actually another story..) and record my whole band. LOL :)
if you consider singing also, you should definitely get a decent microphone, like THE shure...
if u have a very crunchy tone, dont point the mic directly at the cone.. try pointing at the edge of the cone, with an angle of 45 degrees, like 2 or 3 inches from the amp.. or mic directly at the amp, while pointingnext to the edge of the cone..
just play around with the placement, it will...
also, dont forget to "eat" a popfilter, not the grill of the mic. because the diapragm does not like to be spit at.. !
yea and the proximity effect.. uh will be alot, if you handle your condenser like that :)
whoa ppl thanks a bunch u all provide me with great input!! :D :D
yea i know my inspiration's (blink-182) guitar sound comes from those mesa beasts.. but damn they are not what i call cheap :)
but though, i see alot of positive comments on their amps, should perfectly match what i am playing...
thanks cstockdale, also for your first post! i was searching for this johnson j-station but unfortunately didnt find it yet (at an online store in my area..) - i also think it wouldnt be a bad idea to buy this, instead of "any" amp right away..
i wish i lived in america.. when i look at the...
alright.. i will have to spend some more money before i finally get to mix my first songs.. after weeks of messing around trying to get a decent sound out of my korg ax100g pedal and peavey rage 158, i've come to the conclusion (and from what i've read here) that this peavey amp just sucks.
ok...
