how to treat a tube amp well?

yes, i am getting an all-tube amp (mesa boogie studio .22 combo), although i dont know anything really about tube amps. blame me for that, but at least i am honest and DO want to get info.

i know they are much more fragile then non-tubers, and that the tubes may have to be changed sooner or later.

but are there some things that are critical, that i should definitely NOT do with a tube amp?

im the type of person that loves his gear and treats it as well as they can.

i would also be glad to get technical information on how tubes work etc, if that helps me in the process of understanding how to handle my amp as well as possible.

thank you :)

Okay.

Tubes amps sound better when the Master Volume is all the way up, then when you adjust the gain you will hear the full effect of a tube amp. But it will be LOUD.

Second is do not move the amp until the tubes have cooled off. Big no no.

Third is a bias issue that I think is actually a non-issue with Mesa amps. But I don't know, I am a Fender/Marshall guy.
