Can I use a home stereo eq to aid in mixing?

Can someone tell me something about this card? Will it just replace my existing sound card and does it work good with Acid?

I have a American Strat and a cheaper Strat, how can i stop the hum/buzz on the individual pickup selections. On the cheaper strat it has 5 selections and the American has 3.

I will have to go with the Deftones. If you listen to the Adrenaline album that rocks, Especially 7 Words or Engine No.9. When they go heavy it is pretty heavy. And Sevendust sound is pretty good.

I use Acid for my recording program but have never seen the drum loop part. But thats not saying much maybe I'll look a little more into it. I also had Fruity Loops but it just seemed really time comsuming to work with.

I use the drums from Casio CTK-671 keyboard to record drums. Is there any tips that might help me make them sound better. You can tell right away that they are keyboard drums.

I was thinking of going with the M-Audio Audiophile 2496 or the E-mu 0404.

My computer is basically stock, if I but a new soundcard M-audio, E-mun etc do I need an interface to get a good recording or can I just go with the soundcard?

Does anyone have one of these or know about them? I just about bought one but wanted to get some feed back first. I use Acid program/windows 2000, wondering if anyone has had any problems with this unit.

Thanks it probably is my soundcard. I was just wanting to get some different sounds rather than my amp. i would like to be able to plug my guitar direct and use effects from the program.

I have used the effects that come with Acid but dont really like the way they sound, maybe a need a better sound card or something. But I appreciate the information.

I use Acid pro to record on my pc, are there any effects I can use. A friend has a Tascam 10 track and he plugs his guitar right into it and records. IT as all different kind of effects for his guitar (ex. different amps, dist. chorus etc.). Is there any thing I can use to do this with Acid.

I dont know if I havent looked enough or read enough help, but can you do a final mix using Acid?

Can cakewalk open/read Acid files? I have songs in Acid I want to put in Cakewalk.
