I think it sounds pretty good overall ! I don't know why but initially the music sounded somewhat less bright than the vocals when they kicked in and that gave it a different contrast. I don't know whats going on in the mix but that contrast seems To dissappear and blend a bit by the first...

It sounds like you recorded a few tracks, I assume you were recording one while playing back another ? They should be audibly aligned, meaning you shouldn't be able to hear the 1.2ms latency, if thats what your talking about. I never mess with mine but maybe I should, I'd like to know more...

I got mine about 6 weeks ago or so, absolutely love it so far. It's proving to be invaluable to me. Quite alot of bang for the buck IMO.

This is possible. If your serious, I have a VF16 and all the nice little things to go with it too. Very gently used and always well taken care of, I keep it packed in a hard shell case and anytime it was in use on the desk, it always had a dust cover on it. Feel free to PM me.

To get your feet a little wet to digital multitrack recording, and to keep from investing too much right away, try a program called "Reaper" (just google it) it's free to try and very very cheap to buy if you like it.

Mine's a PCMCIA (laptop card) not a PCI card so I can't help you there but.... This place has tons of them to choose from, I only picked this particular one to show you because it's the same make ("ADS Pyro") as my card and I have no problems with it and my Alesis io26...
