Ok, I got a couple of those, I usually run a line out to the mixer and it seems to work fine...I have mic'd it before and it sounds good also, I just noticed it seems to pick up a lot of drums/cuss words/beers falling over etc. :D

Ok got it. So preamp line outs from guitar amps usually sound like crap? So your saying it is better to mic amps? Don't you get a lot of the ambient noise that way? (picking up drums etc)

I was thinking more for live applications. I also had thought about running a small external mixer to all the drum mics and into the main board. Why would it need to be two channels though? For stereo?

LOL I was thinking running one of the guitar amps direct (line out) and a vocal low z mic (for backup vocals) would that work?

Yes, into the crossover? I usually use the post eq master or monitor send into the external amps. is that what you mean? Then run the out from the crossover back into the external effects loop? Thanks,
