Ok. Sorry bout that. Just mean to remember that I saw at least one or two other manufactors that had M-Powered compatible drivers (downloaded from Digidesign's site or the manufactor). Just got it wrong then. Sorry for the confusion it might have caused.

I would suggest using a digital interface. External or internal sound card, a external might be the easiest. To plug direct into the computers standard sound card isn't the best solution. There are a lot of cheap both usb and firewire (pci and pcie as well) soundcards that meet the requirements...

That the Zoom R16 isn't the best sound quality? A porta studio from Zoom for the same price as the H4 handheld recorder from Zoom.. It's a bit mysterious?:P
