i was wanting to build a rack. i was wandering if anyone has done it before?

well heres the deal i have my ovh for drums running thru the behringer mixer and the little red peak light comes on every time a hit the snare so this makes me bring the level down alooot.

i have to record a band in a few days and i have a few good pres but for the most part i have to use crap behringer mixer pres :mad: what is the best way to minimalize on the noise??and/ or what is the best way to maximize on the sound from them?

ok sooo on my budget i should go for that behringer pre? can i use it as just a pre or do i have to have adat because i just want it soo i can run the 8 outs into the ins of my firewire and not use the lightpipe?

where nothing seems to go right. where you cant seem to get a track down no matter how many times you play it and then the rest of the band gets antsy and tired of waiting. well i had one of those days recently and i just want to know if anyone has any tips to stop it from happening again.
