I use a Fender P w/Basslines..But I love the Musicman Stingrays and the Sterlings ..So easy to get a good to great sound outta!Wish I still had one :mad:

Any mic "could" be used.It depends on all the usual factors..Try it and see if you dig it..NTK,NTV or K2 for the usual Rode flavors :)
I think most of the "dangerous guitar tone" is in the hands and the content of the player..Its the attitude and not the gear per say to a certain point!If you listen to say..Phantom,Rocker and Slick{later 80's}on the one "hit" they had.. Earl slick had a "danerous" sound on it! Its about ripping...

Do it like that[Robert Fripp]..mic it up thru a guit amp and record it..and their you go!I don't think a digital recording device is gonna "degade properly" for that sound on sound/looping.Even bucket brigade analog solidstate isn't quite the same
Are you getting the lunchbox or the rack powersupply?Great system,you can add more cards different cards later,like OSA's and API's..I have the OSA's A's,C's{I love 'em on drums} and L3 they are excellent,the L3 reminds me a bit of the Great River NV..I've never used the B/A 312 but Im sure its...
