Thanks for the reply! I'm glad to see its coming together better! As far as the beat, thats not mine, its produced by Kanye West. How is the panning? Is it fine, or does it need to be changed? Thanks again!

Okay, tell me if it sounds better now. I lowered the bg vocals, and tried panning a little better. Eastside Is Forever

No I meant, I normalize the final wav. (Beat and vocals together). I normalize to 99%, then hard limit it so dynamic range looks full throughout the whole song. I think when you said you heard clipping, its because I threw the "Hard Limiter" on it.

Thanks for the reply "VSpaceBoy"! Maybe I need to chill out on the Hard Limiting? Because in Audition I make sure no tracks are clipping, but I after I mixdown I normalize and use the "Hard Limiter" (but the statistics say only around "0.350" clip). Should I just forget the Hard Limiting...

Ok... Sounds good, I'm going to play with the recording a little bit, and then upload it again so you can hear it. Would it help if maybe I just upload the acapella? When you say add delay to make it sound like 2, I have the main vox and doubles, so doesn't that make almost 2 identical tracks...

Thanks for the reply!!! When you say the backups/highlights are to present, do you mean too loud? And by pushing them back, I'd be lowering the volume right? Thanks again

Also, please let me know if anything else seems off (EQ'ing, volume, etc.) ***I only need advice with mixing on...

    Newbie w/ Panning, Please Help!!!

Well, kind of... but I'v never been to a concert or ever watched them on TV. But I can sort of visualize it, with instruments in a beat/instrumental. But I cant see it with as far as vocals are concerned.

    Newbie w/ Panning, Please Help!!!

LOL, I read it, it was nice. I learned a couple of things on there. Unfortunately I didn't see too much about panning. But nevertheless everything on there was good! I got a question, is panning... taking a track and copying it to another, and making one go left, and one go right? Or is it...

    Newbie w/ Panning, Please Help!!!

Green Hornet, thank you for replying, I see what you are saying. I understand its different from person to person and song to song, but is there any guideline that might be followed? Are all vocals pannned? Does the main vocals remain centered, doubles panned? Because I could sit and pan it...

    Newbie w/ Panning, Please Help!!!

Hey guys, I can record and mix decently, but I dont have a clue how to pan. If you could just basically tell me where things go to have that nice Stereo sound to it, it'd be appreciated. More specifically for rapping genre. Like where do the Main Vocals, Doubles, Adlibs, Chorus/Hooks go, left...
