    I have a DOD GS30 FX board. Im recording to a 788 tascam. Should i mic the amp with the effects or take the line out from the FX board and instead of going into the amp go directly into the guitar slot on tascam. I tried it and i like the line out from the FX board? Am i missin out or something...

    I am using 2 57's overhead on the left and right side of the drums and a mic in the basshole and it sounds almost perfect!! Instead of Trimming the level all the way out to mic just lower the trim just a tad and it gives you the perfect sound! It's great, just thought that might help some of you...

    drum set placement in a room

    If you can draw up a rough blue print of the room I could try and help you! Also indicate the sizes and i'll tell you what will sound the best! I use to have that same problem and i kept hoppin the drums around until i found the best sound.

    Thanks Gidge, When im not playing , the Distortion gives me a buzz! On Clean tone its fine, I love the bandit, Also the back Vibrates some too, Maybe the wiring and speakers are screwed up, Ill play it tho! Thanks for the help

    Drum Sound Barrier's

    I wanted to know what to use to surround my drums while recording with another person? Plexi Glass, Or the CONE walls? Also is their any other home techniques you could use to build your own sound walls to help filter out the sound so it is a clear recording of the drums?

    How many mics do i need...
