Wow its funny how everyone praised the Wharfes in this thread and now people are saying the Wharfe's arent good. I read this review about the Truths: http://www.digitalprosound.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=13566&afterinter=true Maybe you guys should check it out.

So whats the verdict? The Beri Truth's or the 8.2a Wharfe's? I need bass and clarity for my rap music. Same price at zZsounds.

Also right now Im using cheap $30 Koss Ur 30 for cans, and Logetich $30 340 speakers. Maybe im not hearing what the equipment suppose to sound like? I was suppose to have my wharfe's but DW couldnt come thru.

thanks for the advice... I might keep the DMP3 and just use the extra cash and start putting foam and carpet in my room. Probelm right now is if I step away from the mic I get that horrible echoing effect. thanks

For some reason the DMP3 makes my voice sound bassy after recording a vocal track. I turned on the low cut filter on both the mic and DMP3 and it doesnt solve the problem... I have to go to the eq in N-track and turn the bass eq down a few notches. for an example of my music. Listen to this...

I only record my rap vocals with it. It doesnt sound as clean and clear as I like. What about this preamp Behringer T1953 Tube Ultragain Processor or the VTB1?

Thanks guys for all da help.. Im just gonna carpet topside of my room near the closets and get some acoustic foam for all four walls, door and open closet. I also decided to return my DMP3 for somthing else. Any suggestions? My budget is like $300 or less.

So noone can help me? I realize the sound Im trying to get is being hendered from my DMP3 and room acoustics.

Are u kidding me 6 months? Lord have mercy. I read some people in this thread had a turnaround time between 5-7 days. Heck even DW said in the PM it would be 7-10 days. Its been about 10 days. No monitors I just found out yesterday I could of easily gotten the Wharfe's from zzSounds for $30...
