i'm using event tr-6 monitors and if they're on an idle, i'll hear a suttle pop noise, its pretty annoying and i hope its not damaging the speakers...any suggestions? (i'm using windows xp if that makes a difference)

the song is pretty typical, but i know thats not the point of reply. i think the recording came out pretty clear and sounds alright. but the bass was nooot working for me at all. is it a cheap instrument?

i think you can simply do that with your keyboard. i know the spacebar is play/stop :D i haven't fiddled around to see what everything else does. save your cash if thats your only purpose, i think it'd be a waste.

well i don't have any special equipment like that. i just plug my events into the soundcard, and the only way right now i guess i could listen to headphones is unpulgging the speakers and putting my headphones in.

LUV THEM! so happy with my purchase. listening through these puppies is such a joy. the clarity of the sound is amazing and will definately aid me well in creating better mixes. the bass isn't to crazy, but the mid's and trebles a amazing. down the road i might consider getting a sub for them...

i just baught monitors and had planned on buying the popular auralex mopads to put them on, after talking to a guy on the phone at a sound treating place, he said they didn't have any in, but could cut accoustical foam for them and it'd basically cost half price on the mopads. is it all the same...

no, it shows me the presets in cooledit perfectly like i said. i just don't know how to find them in sx...i'd be surprised if sx and sl would be different in those terms though? its frustrating because i really like some of the presets, or at least being able to work from them.
