Programmer There is a programmer on e-bay at the moment, any idea of what they are worth?

I just picked up one of these without the programmer. I am synth ignorant but have been trying to program this thing using the manual with no success. Can someone give me a step by step simple instruction so that the penny may drop? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks Mike

I have heard that Art has been purchased by Yorrkville, the makers of some pretty good monitors. I would think that the quality of this line should improve.

I have a VF160, and yes you can use the VF160 pre and an external pre at the same time, just be sure the pre on the Fostex is off on the track you are using the external on.

VF 160 Update What are the new features if any on this update?

I think this may have been dealt with before, but I just can't seem to get it right. How do you hook up an external mic pre so that it overides the pre's in the VF-160. And after it is hooked up, what is the procedure to record? Thanks

Just got a VF160 and need to transfer files from my VF80, anybody done this? I know I could burn cd's with song data, but is there an easier, quicker way? Thanks in advance.

I was thinking I could use my 2 external pre's and 2 pre's from the mixer, reason being I only have 2 single input pre's, but at least I could record using 4 mics onto the 2 tracks of the VF 80. I hope this makes some sort of sense, and thanks for the help.

I have a VF 80 and need to record real drums. With the VF 80 you can only record 2 tracks at once. I want to use 4 mics to record the drums and was thinking I need a mixer. I have 2 outboard pre's that I would prefer to use instead of the mixers pre's. I have been looking at a Behringer UB 8...

I am using Fostex VF 80 and am using Yorkville YSM1P's as monitors. I think I will be getting a VF 160 in the near future.
