I've been getting good results with Photoshop Elements to do the artwork/text, then I import that into Mediaface for printing. dobro, stapling lyrics inside? Why don't you print them on the other side of the insert?

I second the Mick Fleetwood disc(s) - awesome drum sounds/patterns/fills. Also, check out Drum Tools and Drum Components for basic rock drum sounds/patterns/fills. Pro Samples also has a line of good sample discs - many of them acidized - and they have rock drum discs too.

Another vote for Vegas. I know a few video editors who swore by Premier, tried Vegas and switched to VV almost immediately. I also know one video editor who is a Mac geek and therefore, swore by Final Cut Pro - he tried VV and went out and bought a PC so he could run it.

I am getting some excellent results from my latest mic/preamp combo: Shure KSM-44 thru an ART DPS DI/O. Beautiful for single vocal, group vocal, acoustic guitar and empty Sparklet's water jug - that is all I have recorded with it so far. Beautiful, just fooking beautiful. Brad
