I had a cambridge 15w w/ tube in the pre and liked it a lot ... it seemed better than comparable practise amps ... but dont expect too much (those har.cental review are really VERY hyped) ... its an 8" speaker

hi there, I have a 74 Fender Bassman 50 w/ one knob missing (you know, the typical Fender "black witch-hat" knobs). I can probably get a new knob fairly easy - but I am pretty sure it will stand out of the rest ... any idea on how to "age" it? I was thinking of putting it into a plastic bag...

as far as i recall, GRETSCH had some quick connect pickups in the 60ies-70ies ... sorta plug and play :-)

i am not a big friend of "fancy dressers" like yours :-) , but I do have a great playing dc127 ... and I would like to state clearly that its a better made instrument than the 2 Gibsons I had (a LP and a Hawk). I am not too crazy about their pickups, tho ... to much brightness, too analytical...
