i think Cloneboy is right... If i was you here is how i would aproach your situation, record the drums seperate and have the guitarist play along with drummer... give the drummer head phones that come from the lineout of a guitar amp so the drummer has reference... make sure the drummer counts...

alright i have a problem... when i record distorted guitar with palmuting it clips on the fader, so i have to lower the gain on the preamp of my 002 but when i do this strummed out, and pluck notes DO NOT come into Pro Tool's loud enough, and the palmuting is as high as i can get with out...

yeah toms sound on that record may be kind ahard to get, like witht he song asthena they used a amp with a tube thats was glowing purple about dye out to get the sound they got, so its gonna be very tricky to do get his sounds...

i had one, it was the second guitar ive ever owned... it was worth every penny the neck was awesome i loved it, i only sold it becuase i have 2 americans... but its definetly worth the price... i go a fat strat, the pick up was decent but none the less worth the price...
