Hi guys,
Well J Gourdo was kind enough to give me a few drives and I finally installed one...
I took out my Audigy Platinum PCI and 5 1/2" deck to make room for the new DVDRW drive and after plugging it in and booting up.....The PC recognizes the new DVD Drive (Pioneer) but, now it doesn't see...
Thanks man....
Yeah, Ulli can sing for sure.....super talented gal....ya know? ;)
I tracked and re-tracked the guit and bass many many times to get it to this point.........I think it needs more arrangement wise but, we shall see how it develops.
We appreciate the cool comments dude...
but, this is a pretty good tune and some of y'all don't go to the "udder" place so....
Here's a new one Ulli and I wrote...
It's called "Departed"...
It's at Soundclick....
Ulli on vox...

you might be better off using autotune but, sure...I guess you can use the pitch correction plug...
Wav edit view..
effects
pitch
click..
just select the part that you want corrected....you should know the key/note
I have a 55......
I can change tubes from 6L6s to EL34s
other than that...it's pretty similar to yours...
and I can't say that the mids sound pushed when cranked......
but, you can adjust your tone....
try setting up your footswitch on a different channel with different settings...
try less...
also...what does your recorded signal LOOK like?
If it is a wall of sound...then your gain is set too high while recording...check your trim for that....
the speakers are not the problem man....
did you disable the onboard sound that came with your computer after /before you installed your new interface and soiftware?
you might have a conflict in the device manager.....
what OS are you running?
btw...signal chain means all the peripheral...
ahh..
I see....
check out this article from Mesa on the Bias adjustment issue....
I think it may answer the question...
http://www.mesaboogie.com/US/Smith/biasadjust.html
Hi have a Nomad 55 and it has a bias switch for two different kinds of tubes....
I don't have it here...or I would tell you the numbers....
I do know that if you have it set wrong...you can fry your tubes.....
one other option...a cheap one...
is to use the 10/10 outs 1 & 2 and use a Y 1/4" adaptor out to a phone jack....
It should work....
and it's a cheap solution....
you need to set levels in the Delta control panel...
under patchbay router....select monitor mixer....for H/W out 1 & 2
I really...
if you had a small mixer...
You could run the mic into the pre on the mixer and then channel out to the 10/10 then run the 10/10 back into the mixer and mionitor on the phone jack...
A small mixer will cost you like $40.00....
and when the time comes...you could use the same set up and run the...
use the 10/10 outs....
use 1 &2 out...
disable the Santa Cruz...you are probably having a BIOS conflict there anyways....
Check your device manager..I'll bet there is a driver conflict...
do you have a board with phantom power or just the cp8506?
It just seems easier foir me to run into a...
I use a Mesa Nomad 55...
you can hear samples at my webpage if you like...
It is one of the more dynamic combo series of Mesa's...
I get a real good clean tone for my Taylor and a crunch you wouldn't believe for my Les Paul...
I'll never need another amp....ya know?
does the Emachine HD spin at 7200 rpm?
It's pretty important...
$1200 for mics...seems like a bundle to me man....hope they work for you...
The Firepod already has phantom power for condensors...8 to be exact....
don't skimp on the cables....buy good ones....
do you already have recording...
well...I looked up the specs and it appears there is no output except for the phones....
You could try phones out to line in on a computer...real time play/record
I am guessing that the quality will be poor...
You would need recording software and ripping software to make a CD ....
there are...
A G4 is a good machine...
basics are an interface with enough ins to accomodate your needs...
I would say at least 8...12 would be better...
You can go with a small card and a better mixer and do a board mix into the box....sort of defeats the idea of multi tracking software thoiugh.....
If it...
Hey man,...
How goes?
Ok...it only has 8 ins....4 xlr and 4 - 1/4"....
so...you are a drummer...you will need at least 4 for drums...I prefer 6 myself....
and you are limited to 4 with phantom power....for condensor mics...
it's limited to 24 total tracks and you can only record 8 at a time...
