ha...yeah, I get that after a couple hours or so things start acting strange. Commands do things they aren't supposed to, the scrolling stops working...on and on...Restarting fixes it...for a little while.

yeah - terminology thing:cool: The midi tracks I save from GuitarPro work fine if the output is set to the EdirolVSC synth - but if I change the Output to Session Drummer - I get no sound at all - I have to close Sonar all together before I get sound back.

I just upgraded to HomeStudio 6XL, from 4. I use a program called GuitarPro to create all my midi tracks for drums, bass, keys, orchestra, whatever. None of my MIDI tracks exported from GuitarPro will work with either session drummer or dimension LE, which are the main reasons I bought this...

I had this problem too; and it was a issue with my USB interface. Basically I had the inputs turned up too high and if I turned them down just slightly the problem went away.

OK, so it's not the headphones. I completely unplugged the headphones and monitors just played over the tracks with no sound playing and sound from the other tracks still bleed through. I'm using a tascam US-122 audio interface with and HP laptop on Sonar HS 4. Any other suggestions? :confused:

I never thought of that. I did buy new headphones...they were el super cheapo....I'll switch back and see if that corrects the problem

I have been noticing "bleed through" from one track to another; meaning for example if I record a new vocal track then if I listen to just the new track audio there is faintly in the background the music from the other tracks. Is there a setting I have wrong or something? I hadn't noticed this...

I had downloaded the sample version of Sonar prior to buying the full version. With the sample version I could use a midi track and the Piano Roll view to create drum sounds. After installing the full version, I get no sound. By sample files, I mean the "examples", tutuorial files etc.

Hey all. Newbie to computer recording here. I just got Sonar Home Studio and a Tascam US-122 USB interface. Recording Audio seems to work great, with a guitar or mic, however editing MIDI drums I get no sound. However if I play the sample files I can hear sound. Any thoughts?
