It can be done in alot of ways, and if you can't figure them out for yourself then you really aren't getting the best out of your mixer. You should really go back and read your manual thoroughly to make sure you fully understand all of its capabilities.
the easiest way would be to pan two mics hard right and two mics hard left, then have your main left out put go into one of the inputs on the firebox and the right to the other
If you don't have a pop filter and are having problems with your p's and s's try putting the mic a bit lower then normal and aim it up at the singers mouth. Then have the singer sing straight over the mic.
lol.
Ditch the soundblaster now! You need a new sound card thats made for audio recording. M audio makes a great line of cards, they probably have one that would suit your needs. I started off with an M Audio Audiophile 24/96, great little card for the price, most people would call it the...
I've had 3 pairs of those radio shack phones.. The isolate amazingly well. If you crank up your ipod you won't even be able to hear your own foodsteps. Good sound too, not audiophile quailty but for $20!....
I'm sure it can be done, because I can get reason to play back the audio from cubase using rewire. I just can't get it to work with the M Class Mastering suite or get it to drive signal into the mixer.
Ditch the soundblaster and get an audio card designed for recording. The M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 is a good starting card if you only need two inputs. The A/D (analog to digital) convertors in the Audiophile cards are of much higher quailty then the ones in your soundblaster. Better conversion =...
Checked the website, I'd have to subscribe which would cost me about $20 here in Canada to read the article online.
Not bad... but it would be nice if someone could point me in the right direction I could figure things out.
Hi,
I'm currently using Cubase LE for all my mulitracking and mixing needs, and I'm just getting started using Reason 3.0. I've tried to figure this out on my own but I just can't.
What I wan't to do is use rewire to output my audio from cubase into Reason so I can use the M Class mastering...
