Tube is much louder then solid state and 50 watts is generally a ttage for tubes that you can push at a good volume.

You can use it to program drum beats and MIDI things. I've used it to make some drum beats for some projects

I use adobe Audition and used to use Audacity which is free and nice. Garage band is pretty terrible IMO.

They are cheap and quite decent. Not great for heavier music but a really good bluesy amp. The Valveking is also great although I prefer my B-52

You can use reverb, EQ and compression to get a good sound. Though no matter how much you edit a crappy tone is a crappy tone. You can do some really cool things and drastically change the tone using eq but I'd suggest to concentrate more on your guitar and amps sound.

B-52 100w 4x12 with LG 100A head No tubes in that one though but good for heavy music, ther is also a combo but isnt as loud. If you want tubes for a bit more try the AT-100 which also has a combo.

It looks pretty sweet although I've never used one myself.
