Though this has been said time and time again, you really aren't going to be able to cop someone's sound soley based on their amp settings. Furthermore, they have three guitar players. I know one uses a Soldano, and I'm pretty sure that's the prominent amp in the mix.

I play on Vintage. Raw can sound good too, but I hate Modern.

I play a Fender Strat with Hot Rails in the lead through a Triple recto. The sound I have is similar to what you're describing (I think). My settings are as follows: Gain: 4 Presence: 2 Lows: 4.5 Mids: 7 Highs: 10

In that price range, I don't think you're going to find anything much better than what you've got. :( Unless you find some great deal on used gear.

I guess I'm kinda just looking for a more plain English explanation I can understand. As far as MIDI controllers and effects loops go, I'm not too educated on the matter. Those sites aren't much help to me because I don't know much of what they're talking about.

Yeah. Tom DeLonge generally uses his Triple Rec, Marshall JCM900, and JMP-1 all at once. You're not going to be able to get his tone, but you can take from it's ideas the best you can.

I beg to differ. Sennheiser e385 is where it's at. The SM58 has nothing on it IMO.
