I've updated Acid ever since it came out and personally, I feel that Acid 6 is the only one worth dealing with now. It's the first that'll let you record multiple tracks in among other things. I think it's the only 24 bit as well.

Oh man, seeing the two drummers together live is insane. Two words.... Ear and Plug Seriously. It was nearly painful. If the house PA hadn't SUCKED and actually had working horns in the top boxes, it would have been even more deadly.

The show by the way was fantastic. Big Business and the Melvins together as one band is something to behold. The conjoined, symmetrical drumset was amazing. Go see this show if you can!

I do loads of sound in churches. I'd say, use your ears and your judgement. Take in high consideration what kind of audience you have. I've done sound for churches that want the old folks to hear everything and nothing more, and done sound in churches who are as contemporary as it gets, and...
