Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold. I know alot of people talk shit about them but Syn is absofuckinglutely amazing. I've learned pretty much every A7x song there is minus a few solos/sweeping parts.

another thing you could try doing is getting a better amp. i find that halfstacks always sound better....i usualy stick 2 mics in fron of the cabinet: one per speaker. also try messing around with the settings on your amp, pedal and guitar.

dude id say fuck a les paul and grab yourself a schecter. they are around the price and in my opinion sound better and play better. plus most of them come standard with seymours.

try looking at a place called Full Sail own in Orlando, FL. You could go for Recording Arts. thats where i plan on going. it only takes a year to complete but you take it year round and from 9-5 every weekday. its honestly the best program ive seen
