So I wrote this in under an hour today. Fact is I have lived this the last 15 months. So maybe it really took over a year I laid an Acoustic Guitar/VoX/BGV track to see what I should do or don't do with it at a later date & with bells and whistles All thoughts welcome...

Listened on computer...I like to hear the VOX so I think they are fine.....Everything sits pretty well. Just nit pick the mix if you want but it sounds great to me

Glad I got one of the first versions THAT HAD MIDI.....It's a little long in the tooth now, but, it does EVERYTHING I need. I have PRO TOOLS & STUDIO ONE< but never have recorded a single song on them, as I can never get it up and running LOL... I record on the TASCAM DP24 & I mix on PRO TOOLS...

All these answers and not one mention of good mic technique. Learning the distance from the microphone to sing certain phrases in a song will not only put your mix ahead of the game, but for “live” gigs will make your performance professional. Best starting point IMO

from an arrangement standpoint it needs a few elements. Halfway through I would build the tune with some rhythm. About 2/3 through I hear talking back fast orchestral strings, VERY DRAMATIC TALKBACK. That’s what I’m hearing
