If you can find the right gauge of wire for the center of the jack thats all you need. Go get some solid cooper ground wire from lowes or menards some place like that and bend them into the right shape and thatwill work great.

I dont think a compressor is going to fix that problem. Muddy could mean wrong mic selection, A bad room, A bad preamp, Bad eq settings, A bad instrument. Bad digital converters, Or all of them at the same time.

Guys I am getting ready to buy a new computer. And I only use my cool edit pro program 2.1 as a mixdown program from analog into a m audio delta 44. My question is will cool edit load into vista and work? Or am I going to have to buy a new program? Thanks
