Can anyone help a brotha out? What would cause a say Tascam 38-8 to slow down towards the end of a rewind? I cleaned and replaced the 2 rubber washers on the brake and motor solenoids. Is there a certain thing that wears out that needs replacing? Thanks

OK... So if you are using a Teac 3340 and a DX-4D can you just plug the control signal cable back into the cascade cable jack in the DX-4D and that will make it work? Cause the guy I sold the item to says he knows what hes doing and thats what you're supposed to do to make a Teac 3340 and...

Awww Come Now?!?! I sold one on ebay to a guy who is trying to hook it up to a Teac 3340. He says it doesnt work. I know it worked for me on a Tascam 32 and 38-8. I have looked at 4 Teac 3340's on ebay and NONE of them appear to have the proper sticker to peel off and stick a cascade cable...

Hi Ho Silver... I just picked up a mint condition Tascam 34b on Ebay for about $160.00. Thing is I look at the back and notice that I can just plug into the coresponding channel and record to that channel. But it ALSO has 4 ins and 4 outs. Just like my 38-8. My main question is about them...

Hey. Will Tascam 38-8 heads fit on a Tascam TSR-8? I know that the TSR only has 2 heads alltogether compared to the 3 of the 38-8. But could you still use 1of the rec/reproheads on the TSR? Thanks
