I got a MOTU 828mkII for christmas and i hooked it up with my SONAR 3. I'm using the WDM/KS driver and the buffer size is 11.6 msec. (the fastest) there is some noticable latency. What do i do? i have a intel P4 2.4 Ghz with 256 MB of ram. (I just ordered a GB of ram and should be here...

i have a dps16 and it's awesome. you can pick one up for like 600 bucks at www.shreveaudio.com but that's without an effects card. but youc an pick one of those up too. but since it seems you have a computer, so at least look at the protools Digi002. Way more possibilities in the box it...

back to the original question i've tested both mics side by side. the C1 had much more low end and the V67 was much noisier T

I got Sonar 3, but no interface yet. I've been just messing around with it in the soundcard built into my motherboard. (it's shitty but I just wanted to try and get the feel of the software) I plugged a microphone in, and it records delayed? why is this? What do i do? Thanks, T

those presonus rack adapters are a rip off. They're designed to fit perfectly to the presonus products, but with a little bit of drilling you can make it work out pretty good with the Raxxass 1U rack adapters. I did that for my bluetube and bluemax. they suck, but they look cool racked...

qwincy, I'm not familiar with the Delta 66, but i'm assuming it has good converters and is a decent unit. I did this project on someone elses computer... i wanted to test with the in the box systems. It was a Mac G4 with the Digi002 rack, not the little board guy. It only has 4 preamps...
