Yeah, the shipping likely kills it, which is insane lol. Imagine how much cheaper stuff would be if it didn't have to be shipped like three times before you got it?
None of those IMF speakers on Ebay, atleast that I could find. :( They seem quite interesting, especially since I could likely afford just picking up a pair for the heck of it. :)
The problem with getting multiple consumer speaker setups to reference on, instead of monitors, is that it would end up costing as much as a pair of Wharfedales or the like, because you would have to have REAL speakers in there somewhere, along with picking up a bunch of cheapies. Even if you...
Without blowing tons of money, the Tech 21 SansAmp GT2 would probably be a good bet. That'd sort of be a cross between the XXL and the PSA, where you get basically a distortion pedal, but with a lot of versatility.

That's cool. I was wondering about the Rosetta 800. It looks like a really good deal for the money. Apogee also has the AD-16X and DA-16X, which I would imagine are as good as it gets or close to it, but that would cost like twice as much, just for similar units. That looks to me like the...
I can't imagine he, or anyone else on this forum, and any others, would want to help you when you talk like that. You call him an asshole, yet it is YOU acting like one.
Dot, so far, I've heard great things about the bass drum and overhead mics with the Red5 mic packages, but what about the tom/snare mics? Are they any good?
Yeah, just be glad that you are smarter and/or happier than the people who always want to start fights, and that you have nothing to prove, while they feel they always have to try to prove who knows what to everyone else.
Dot, how good are the tom/snare mics in the Red 5 drum mic sets? I thought I had found a real deal in these, as compared to buying mics in the US, but after adding shipping and doing the conversion, it unfortunately comes to a total of $690.50 for the tom/snare, kick, and RV10 package.
If I...
Your link doesn't work.
How much do these mics cost? If it's cheap, I'll just buy one in a month or so hehe. Someday, I'm just going to buy up all the mics compared to SM57s in the price range and really figure out what's up. I hear too many different things that don't hold ground, and it...
A 58 should actually make a good kick mic. You might have to do more EQ and compressor work than with a good kick mic, but it would still end up similar in sound quality. Besides, even if it wasn't a good kick mic, it would probably be better for just about anything than any Nady mic used on...
Very interesting...I love how virtually everthing audio and music related has a DIY alternative to buying it built for you. :)
So, exactly how difficult would this INA217 be to put together for someone who has never done anything like this before? I could use some extra pres, no matter how...
Do you still have the RNP? I've seen several people saying lately that they prefer the Brick to it, but I haven't seen a clip comparing them. That would be awesome if someone could do that. ;)
My problem with Behringer is that they are ALWAYS ripping other stuff off, and that there is ALWAYS something better, at close to the same price, and sometimes less, made by someone else who give's atleast a crap's crap, where they aren't anywhere near that point.
Actually, the best tube to put in the Berri lava lamp, and anything else that uses tubes, is their new and improved Ultra Vacuum Tube:

Although that is actually a Craftsman...
deepwater, you should put the MAP for everything on your site, and then "Call or e-mail for a better price," or something like, that next to it.
That would definitely convince a lot more people just browsing around your site.
Btw, is it possible that you might pick up more brand names...
MUCH ROCK! I've been waiting for this. You'll undoubtedly be hearing from me soon. ;)
Will you still give a deal on the Wharfedale Diamond Pro 8.2s, though?
