7 Bones for a B3 with a Leslie 122A? Not too bad. Hell the Leslie alone would bring about 3!
That B looks too clean. I'd need to add some cigarette burns and drink rings before I really felt at home with it.:D
6 months ago, this would've been in my house by now. Today, not so much.:(
Ahhh...that's the point I'm missing. Correct. It's not necessary to have a space 22 feet long to realize a wave that presents cycles at 22 ft intervals. Doh!
Myth? I thought it was science. I mean, a 50 hz wave is demonstrably 22 ft and change in length. I was taught that wavelength is always found by dividing the speed of light or sound, by the frequency (light or sound at a specific elevation- light is affected by atmosphere, too)...
What I don't get is that if it takes approx 22 ft for a 50hz wave to propogate, how the hell are we hearing it at 2cm?
This is an unbelievably stupid question that I'm too unbelievably stupid to answer.:o
Completely depends on the sound I'm going for. Sometimes out, sometimes mic, sometimes a combo.
That being said, I used to own a Velocette...15 watts of buttery overdrive. I did enjoy hanging a mic on that amp.
Complicated automation? I just mash the "write button" track whatever changes (volume, fade, mute, fx automation), mash the "read button" and listen to the results. Doesn't seem too terribly complimocated to me.
Ha! Very clean for all the verb that's flying around. The bass is eq'd well..bet that was a bitch to get it to cut thru the toms of doom. GR has a surprisingly good spring reverb sound. You've got some wicked vibraslap chops, dude.:D
No nits on anything...maybe the guits seem a bit present at...
It sounds like you've done a good, thoughtful job of weighing the options thus far, but I see you've not mentioned your recording space in any way. Have you evaluated it as well? Generally speaking, this is the first place I would spend any money and it's important to spend it correctly. Not...
Yeah, the last section prior to Shatner just screamed Kraftwerk.:) I got turned on to them via Trans-Europe Express and went backward to discover Autobahn. I've always kinda kept them in the back of my mind.
You did them justice for sure.
Ha! The tune's in your signature link as well.
Ok...what's this stuff called? :D
I used to do demented stuff like this in the 80's armed with nothing more than a Korg DSS-1 and a Roland MT-32 module.:drunk:
It's fucking relentless...the oppressive noise swells as a canvas is a cool idea. The...
I'm on cans this morning....stupid auditors are in the conference room next to my office.
Like the guit tones...liquid..nice. The relentless panning kinda gets distracting after awhile, but I am on cans so it might not be so distracting on my monitors.
The snare lacks definition as do the...
I just named my new band Jackwagon. Stay the hell away from it.
Candidates were: Malibu Ken and the Dream Dates. Philosophical Wax. My soon to be ex-daughter:mad: suggested Old Play or Hippy Village.
lol...I've got a Compaq/HP lappy. It's held up pretty good. Then last month, it stopped booting. I yanked the drive, installed it in my wife's laptop and it was fine. So, I figured it was something on the motherboard. I was 3 days from my 1 year warranty expiring. Called HP, they sent a...
