OK, got it this time. Sounds like a fun piece, experimental I guess. The EQ does sound quite bright so I'd consider toning down the high end a piece. In keeping with the genre you might also want to effect (at least reverb) the voice--this type music seems to ask for highly processed vocals...

I've used an A-8 for quite a few years with very satisfactory results. However, as suggested do test it out before you spend your money. Run some tape through it and record a test signal on tracks 1-4. Repeat it for tracks 5-8, then play them back and make sure each is recording and playing back...

Pick attack is always a tricky one. Generally EQ doesn't really help get rid of it because it cuts across the full spectrum; try it and you'll see. It's best dealt with at the recording side--mic placement, pick choice, even strumming technique can have an effect. Emeric, I know what you mean...

Must be an old amplifier? This could overdrive your amp--either heat it up, shut it down or cause distortion in the signal.
