I just saw yet another thread posted in the Cubase forum, and it reminded me that I don't see nearly as many "I'm having a problem" threads started here. I'm just saying is all.

I just wanted to reemphasize the importance of placement. I took me about an hour to get these overheads in place, but once I did the time seemed immaterial. And mind you, this is just for recording rehearsals! But while listening to playback, I hit the mono button, and no phase problems whatsoever.

Well I finally got a chance to put my Octane to work, and it's definitley a keeper. I first used it as a pre for my drums - M201 on snare, Beyer TG-X50 on kick, SM57s on all toms, MXL 603s for overheads). I took the outs of the Octane directly into my Layla. Well right off the bat the sound was...
