You raise a good point but I'm totally opposite your view. Why would you view "easy" as a virtue? Easy is different than simple. The Behringer is not an old machine, it's brand-new. It mimics the Linn Drum, which was, an incredible piece of technology. Moogs and things, sounded incredibly good back then, and now. If you are a keyboardist you know this, your argument for simplicity notwithstanding.
