I swear this "music store" here has no idea what variety is and thinks Peavey is the "end all" to all amps. I mean Peavey makes some good stuff but when ya carry 25 amps and they're all Peavey....

But I think I'm gonna get the HT40. I was asked to play rhythm in another band around here and I think I may just do it. I figgers the 40 will have enough oomph ta git er done. There's also the 60 watter I was lookin at and it's only another couple hundred.

Besides, I have an odd number of amps and that's just weird.

Anyway, I go over to meet everyone, have a beer or two, let em know (again) that I've never run live before, ended up jammin a little bass while I was there and one of em said, "Screw the board! He's our new bass player!"

Went back in to the (only) music store here and asked em, by chance, if they were planning on stocking any of the Blackstar line and the guy said..."Them?!? Why would we? We stock Peaveys!"

Just got back from vacation. Didn't do too much. Mostly relaxed. Picked up an ESP bass while I was up in Montana. Plays nice and it's purdy.

Gettin back to work on the home projects but brought my brother down with me. So he's at home buildin the pergola thingy while I'm here.
