Thanks for all your advice guys. I don't know squad about brass instruments it seems :) The idea that I have is using a mix of a melody like the sax in 'the man with a red face' by Laurent garnier and a Angie stone song called 'I wish I didn't miss you'

I want to make a progressive soul type of song. With 2 or 3 trumpets and a sax with quick changing notes and jazzy sound. Hope this makes it clearer😜

das war eigentlich ganz gut. Wirklich. :-) I could be listening to this on spotify. I pointer, I think you could use longer strokes and less instead of short ones on the guitarmelody on the 'nicht' passages, if you know what I mean. But thats personal of course

I hear to much bass from the begining on. And I think it's your acoustic guitar. Nice song, I like it. I like the hammond type organ and cello too. Maybe those could be a smidge more present maybe enough by taking the acoustic guitar a bit down in volume. Nice end. Only when the song was over...

I'm working on a new rocksong in wich I need some ambient sounds I can adjust to my needs. Are there some good free vst's I can find somewhere?

The drumsound, I use Ezdrummer 2, and in there one can choose different sounds for your drums. I meant that the sound isn't warm, too flat. It sounds unreal to me. But that of course is personal. Probably the word tight isn't well choosen.

@TimOD : thanks, I understand better now. I have Bose headphones with noicecancelling... @jimistone : Thanks for your ideas. Can I do that trimming in ableton somehow? With adding I presume you mean adding a instrument that provides in that area.
