Been dealing with Dysphonia (voice loss) for 3 years and have adapted to my limitations enough to begin writing and recording again. It's not the voice I want but it's something to work with at least. Love to get some feedback.
All the recording and production was done in Studio one Pro 2.5...
I hope someone can help here.
I bought the Edirol Orchestral VSTi and everything works fine except I can seem to get a hold (sustain) command to work when using my Edirol Keyboard. It works with me other VST instruments except this one. Any settings I may be missing? I'd hate to think I wasted...
I know I will not be the only one recording a song for the aniversery of Sept. 11 but I was home sick on that day and watched it from begining to end.
Half way through the nightmare, I wrote this. I took less than 15 min to put my thoughts to music.
Enjoy, and share your thoughts and opinions...
Finally, after almost a 2 year writers block, I have written and recorded something new.
A bit of a new sound for me but let me know what you think.
The song is called "Come Down" at www.mp3.com/johnny_geib
Thanx in advance for all opinions.
These songs are all 100% 2480. No external preamps or effects and all track editing was done on the 2480. No external software other than Sound Forge 6.0 for mixing down and complete mastering.
Used EV mics on all acoustic guitars and vocals. Drums were played on a Roland V-Drum kit and all...

Hello everyone.
This is my first song on the web. I'm just looking for some comments, good or bad, on this song http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/312/johnny_geib.html
