My current kit is the DR-60D Mk2. I run it with two Behringer C-2 condenser mics. Can anyone help. A recent recording of a program off the radio (recorded as an line signal through inputs 3/4) recorded the music at a decent level but the commentary could hardly be heard. Any ideas?

s pretty clear in the user manual. You return the FX signal through a stereo input. This is standard on the Fostex MR16.

Go to Fostex International : Recording Equipment, Hi-Fi Equipment, Speaker Components > Support > Multitracker Software and the software 1.21 download is there. Follow the instructions in the .pfd file.

This is really what the MR8 was designed to do, act as a front end to a PC editing suite. Guess you will have downloaded WAVManager by now.

I am running WavManager on Windows 7 64 bit - no problems yet. As the PC can look at the MR8 as an external drive, you should be able to download Wav files OK.

I think you may need to fit a S/P DIF sound card to your PC.
