Yeah. The bass isn't very present. VERY soft sounding bass. Almost sounds like an upright? :confused: The acoustic sounds OK. I think replaying the bass would be the ticket or live with the soft bass. Apples and oranges Dave

Actually sounds pretty good to me. The drums do seem to be lagging a bit. Could be the odd drum pattern in the main verses. The choruses sound fantastic. Much fuller than the verses with the cymbal rides and lead guitar bits. The guitars seem a bit too much mid for my tastes. Getting kind of...

It's easy to say do this or that but it's quite different when your mixing. It's different when your actually mixing and listening to the song over and over a zillion times. Maybe the bass needs more bottom. Maybe the guitars need less. Just gotta play to get that nice balance. Once you open up...

Yep. I know one vocalist who mainly uses delay for a similar effect of a room verb. It works good and I've been trying it more. You have to experiment. Maybe both but sparingly on the verb. Dave

Reapers a pretty good free program. I know quite a few guys using that one. Seems everyone likes it once the brain gets around it. A bit heavy on the verb but sounding pretty good. I like your vocals. Have you tried using delay on the vocals rather than verb? Dave

It's the tone of his amp. It has some weird harmonics in the mid range and sounds like a single 10" speaker. :rolleyes:
