OK so after reading numerous posts about levels and keeping them low during the mix, I turn to the tascam users. Where should I set the mic/guitar input level (US-122) if I have a stack mic'ed and the amp volume at about 1/3. Which input level should I be more concerned with the amp or the mic pre.

I cant get any sound from the line out, just the headphones. I downloaded the newest driver for OSX tiger. Im lost I've been messing with preferances for two days now. Why is it that when I go to mix tracks in console view, if I adjust the slider on a track they just shoot back to the level I recorded that track at? Also Is there some sort of wave editor in sonar where I can cut peaks and so on?

I have an acoustic with a fishman pickup that gives me static when I plug it in to my amp. It goes away when I touch the guitar jack or anything metal, whitch tells me its a ground thing. Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this its making me crazy!
